By the time Nancy Wilson recorded tracks for what would be the 1968 LP, The Sound Of Nancy Wilson, the Ohio-born songstress had already established herself as the best-selling artist at Capitol Records, second only to The Beatles. Her 20th album for the label found Nancy applying her distinctive brand of soulful vocalizing fused with a touch of pop and jazz to 10 songs that were a perfect fit for her well-crafted artistry.
