The sound quality isn't exactly polished, but it's certainly not bad either; everything can be heard clearly and in reasonably good fidelity. Bonga Kwenda is one of Angola's hottest vocalists. He's gifted with the charismatic qualities and vocal attractiveness necessary for any singer to attain not just popularity, but greatness. His husky, roaring delivery, confident manner and aggressive sound emerge on every cut featured on this late-'80s disc. He's singing in the *n "merengue" style, which blends aspects of Afro-Latin and African music.
