Trabaci classical music CD This classical music event transpired at Berlin's Waldbühne in 2002, in a uniquely open-aired atmosphere. The program on display (as performed by the Berliner Philharmoniker with accompaniment by Mariss Jansons) features a potpourri of pieces that have been traditionally played as bon-bons (or encores) following classical events, such as Toyama's Dance of the Celestials, Elgar's Wild Bears, Kreisler's Tambourin chinois - 19 such pieces, here presented back-to-back. In addition to Jansons, the program also features violin soloist Vadim Repin.
As the cameras reveal the scale of this open-air event, held at Berlin's Waldbuehne in 2002. This is a full program of musical bon-bons - pieces regularly given as encores. Vadim Repin performs with the Berlin Philharmonic conducted by Mariss Jansons. Included are works by Moniuszko, Wieniawski, Tchaikovsky, Chapi, Kim, Lumbye, Toyama, Sibelius, Elgar, Wagner, Kreisler, Gardel/Williams, Paganini, Ziehrer, Mascagni, Dvorak, Bizet, Massenet, and Lincke.
