A masterpeice
This album was probably U2's best work. Although Achtung Baby comes pretty close for me. "Where the streets have no name" and 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for" are (for me anyway) tracks about man's constant and never ending search for a relationship with God. They probably are the two best tracks on the record. You just can't beat the power of Bono's lyrics combined with Adam's bass guitar, Larry's superb drums and of course the musical genius we call The Edge.
"With or without you" is a beautiful ballad full of emotion and power. "Bullet the ble sky" is a true rock and roll song and has the most muscle on the album. the bass on 'In God's country is so pleasing to the ear. Finally "Exit" is just one of those songs that I love to drive 100 miles/hour to on the highway as the music just gets so intense!
This album has to be among one of the greatest ever made in the history of Rock. it is a must for any Rock and Roll fan.

Emotional Masterpiece!
I don't really care what other reviewers have to say against this album. When it came out in 1987, I was going through a personal tragedy. The Joshua Tree brought me back to life! I played it maybe 200 times before I listened to anything else. A brilliant album that still has the capacity to move the soul. I will always treasure it.

Stunning
Well want can you say about this, other than it's albums like this that shape todays music. Without this and other U2 albums rock would not be the same! All the songs are stunning and well sung. "TC" & "Zoc Pro" take a long look you really don't know rock at all.

One of the best Albums Ever Produced
This album is a well known late 80's masterpeice. The first song "Where the streets have no Name" Is a song that you can dream with listening in your car when your on the road 9/10. The next song is "I Still haven't found what I'm looking For" this is a song that could relate to people in many ways today It has a good meaning 8/10. Possibly the most popular hit on this album is "With or Without You" It's basically a love song very slow paced 8/10. Possibbly the best song on this album is "Bullet the Blue Sky" It delivers good meaning about our world today, and also The Edge plays very well in this song compared to the others 10/10. The rest of this album I won't talk about too much, but the rest is all good stuff too. This album is not as hard boiled as past ones but It has alot of soul to It. And that's what I call a true album. It should come from the heart.
