Foghat - Two Centuries of Boogie movie was released May 29, 2001 by the BMG Special Products studio. .61 minute DVD featuring 12 tracks such as "Sweet Home Chicago," "Angel of Mercy," "Fool for the City" and more! Also includes an extensive discography, a heartfelt tribute to the consummate rocker, Lonesome Dave, in the form of a riveting photo montage set perfectly to Dave's poignant Angel of Mercy!
The British classic rock band Foghat were known for their straightforward bluesy rock (known as "pub rock" in their native England and "boogie rock" in America. ) The band, who gained popularity in the "Have A Nice Day" decade that was the 1970's are shown on TWO CENTURIES OF BOOGIE performing 12 tracks, including "Fool For the City," and "Sweet Home Chicago." In addition, a heartfelt tribute to their leader, nicknamed "Lonesome Dave," who died in December of 2000, is included.

| Jim C. Boston mass Foghat - Two Centuries of Boogie video Excellent dvd foghat rips it up as always and Rod price r.i. p. was one of the best slide guitar players period ! This whole band was underated First time I saw them original lineup with the outlaws and johnny van zant at the boston gardens tight shoes tour 1980, they tore up the place and left the other bands in the dust Lonesome Dave and rod (the bottle)price were one of the best live bands in rock, Buy this dvd you will not regret it is an incredible performance as always Foghat should be in the Rock and Roll hall of fame but they had to induct Michael Jackson as a solo artist ??? Trower's career has spanned more than four decades and he is considered to be one of the finest guitarists in Rock n' Roll history. He spent the early 60's playing guitar in various London based outfits, and received his big break 1967 joining Procol Harum.
