||Modern "Classic" on DVD at last|
While not exactly at the cutting edge of special effects today, Willow was right up there when it was made in 1988, and subsequently I thought at the time it was better than sliced bread, seeing it numerous times at the cinema before the end of its run.

||Fantasy at it's best!|
Willow movie Excellant story line with plenty of action to satisfy. Comedy at it's best with some drama thrown in, magic and monsters, what better format for a fantasy film! A film worth watching again and again, fun for the whole family!

Ron Howard's "Willow" - co-scripted by George Lucas - is a well crafted piece of cinemagic starring warwick davis, val kilmer and the beautiful joanne whalley (later kilmer's wife).

||Willow: Don't Weep For Me!|
In spite of the underwhelming sales, indifferent critical reviews and "pretty good" boxoffice figures, this movie remains good fun, imaginative, artful and with a mythology all its own.

||Willow 'cult' claims next generation|
I have loved this movie since I was a child growing up in the 1980s. It is rare, nowadays, to find a film with truly lovable characters, a compelling storyline, romantic leads with strong chemistry, and good old-fashioned adventure all in one place; I feel that "Willow" accomplishes all of this well.
