This movie was better than I had rembered. It is an excellent rendition of Vernes story. Unlike today's movies, it does not rely on violence, sex, or special effects to make it a most enjotable movie.

Great movie! This is probably one of the best movies i have ever seen from this era. All the backgrounds are excellent and done really well. This movie is good for all ages.

A joy to watch and just like I remebered it. Nice Sci-Fi and the kids even enjoyed it too. Nice to own movies that are not full of blood, guts, vulgarity and etc. A pleasure to watch.

3 stars just as I remember it
I bought this for my 7 year old to see. so few sci-fi movies out there that are okay for a 7 year old. It was right up his alley. He was upset when the giant lizards got killed, but otherwise, except for the rather drawn out boardroom scenes in the first half, everything was novel and exciting to him without being really frightening.
