Quite Good!
Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap video They may look a little older but the music sounds just as good (db5.1) or better. And the picute quality is excellent. A good buy.

still fresh after all these years
Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap film The Doobie Brothers' sound is still as fresh today as it was in the 70's. Even if you have heard these tunes hundreds of times you'll find it relaxing and fun. These guys have great melodies, crisp chops and still enjoy playing and you can tell it by watching this concert. Ah, who today has such instantly memorable and timeless tunes.

A 70's dreamfest!
Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap review If you liked the Doob's in the 70's you'll love this DVD. I was thrilled at the musicianship of these guys. Unlike the bands of today, the Doobie Brothers possess that magic that has made their music last through the years. Get it. Sit back and ENJOY!

Tom and Pat - like old times
Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap DVD for sale The Doobie Brothers went through many different formations over the years and if you are more a guitar-Doobie than a Michael McDonald-Doobie, you are going to love this DVD. Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap movie While I did miss Skunk Baxter and Michael McDonald in some cases, it was great to see Tom Johnston back in top form. We all get older but Patrick Simmons and Tom Johnston are, as they even admit in the special features, playing some of the best of their career. The band is tight. The audio is what I had hoped for in a Doobie-DVD concert: outstanding. I highly recommend this DVD for any Doobie fan, and especially for all the Doobie guitar fans.

Doobie still doing it in grand style !!
Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap video The music is tight, the harmonies fantastic and as good as ever. These guys just keep getting better with age ! Sure. there are a few grey hairs amongst them, but rockin' is what the Doobies do best and this vid is their best yet. Worth every cent and more !! One question: When are the Doobs coming to Australia ?? I would give my left testicle to see them live !!

Very cool
Doobie Brothers - Live at Wolf Trap film My first present of my wife was a LP of Doobie in the decade of 70. Hoje, recall this jewel that stays in my hearth. Very cool.

Un "must"

Excellence :-)
Well this does bring back memories of a cold dark winters night at London's Hammersmith Odean back in February 2004. The set list is a step back through time with the world's number one band (for me anyway). They perform with grace and style like no others and play hits past and present. Fantasic full live set including the Encores. Great special features include Gallery, Setlist and Commentry.5*.

I really like both the Tom Johnson and the Michael McDonald versions of the Doobies. This DVD features Johnson (alongside Pat Simmonds) and an extremely fined band w/a horn section. I wanted to hear 'Another Park, Another Sunday', which the band does stunningly well here. In fact everything (including numerous tunes I was unfamiliar with) is really good. Johnson still kicks it up in fine form, and his voice (as well as concise guiar work) is as compelling as ever. Ironically, one of the showstoppers is a McDonld tune - 'Taking it to the Streets' - which gets a keyboard intro before bassist Skylark steps up to the mic and delivers the tune in a manner that - like McDonald - is intense, but with an approach that makes it feel fresh again. In fact, though the Doobies have been around since the early 70s, the band here sounds fresher, more focused and compelling than ever. I would have like McDonald to be a part of it, but hey... The accuracy of the multi-harmony intro to 'Another Park... ' alone is worth the price of admission. Of all the Doobies DVDs, this is the one to own. That said, the others are also very good and worth having.
