| Beautiful as before, but a few small surprises
"The Concert For Bangladesh" was always a joy to listen to (I wore out my vinyl, and enjoyed the CDs). The remixed and remastered version adds one unreleased Dylan song from the afternoon show (at the end as a bonus track), but most of the other performances are from the original release.

| There is nothing like this Concert
This was one of the first records I listened to alot and some of my first experiences with rock music, I was eleven and really had'nt started buying Lp's yet but my older brother had it.

| George Harrison & Friends really rock the world
One of the greatest live performances ever. Harrison, Shankar, Starr, Clapton, Dylan, Akbar Khan and many others do their best. Excellent remastered edition which was long-long awaited.

| EXCELLENT ACOUSTICS
THIS HAS ALL THE FINEST QUALITIES OF THE ORIGINAL ALBUM TRACK. THE VOCALS ARE PERFECTLY CLEAR. BOB DYLAN'S AND OF COURSE GEORGE'S VOICE HAS NEVER SOUNDED BETTER.

What a shame! Altered cover.Some edits were clearly made.Music sounds great but this is Bangladesh 2005.Don't alter history!!!

No matter that some comments between songs may have been edited out (remember: the original album was released as a triple) and the cover has been altered, it's the music that counts.

This is not the same as the original album. It has been edited. Mamy of the comments before certain songs began are now missing! Even the original cover was omitted in favour of a cover that they hoped would help to sell more copies!

One of THE most importqnt records to have ever been made. First class, all the way around. Interesting historical note: This was the first large scale, "Live Aid" type of benefit concert in history.

| bad experience in this case
Reading the status I don´t understand if the CD is shipped or not?,please explain to me what happened. First it said was shipped,later the status said it was not posible because the cd does not exist in stock??????.

| That's the way George planned it . . .
It was thirty years ago today ... well it's close enough anyway, that the late and much lamented George Harrison put together the world's first all-star benevolent concert for Bangla Desh.

I remember when the movie and 3 album set came out. I looked forward to it because the only other box set I had at that time was All Things Must Pass and I had already worn the grooves off of it.
