| | Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark Architecture & Morality CD (1981) Bonus DVD; Bonus Tracks
Elefante - Exitos DVD
$28.29 Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark: Andrew McCluskey (vocals, guitar, reed horns, organ, Mellotron, synthesizer, bass, percussion, electronic percussion, programming); Paul Humphreys (vocals, melodica, piano, organ, Mellotron, synthesizer, percussion, electronic percussion, programming).
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark's eponymous debut and its follow-up, ORGANISATION, were pioneering synth-pop albums. However, some of the sonic experiments sounded forced and the band's ideas occasionally seemed to outstrip their abilities. That's definitely not the case here. Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys integrate their electronics gracefully into the format of the pop song, and Malcolm Cooper's live drums do much to keep the album from sounding too machine-made.
The album's centerpiece is the two-part "Joan of Arc"/"Maid of Orleans" suite, ...

Elefante - Exitos film
$14.75 Wicksboro, Texas doesn't exist. But to hear Lloyd Pearsall tell it, the town should be known for precisely that fact. According to Pearsall, this small community and its 75 residents vanished overnight in 1953. New zoning has been implemented and all written records of the town have been destroyed in an attempt to completely erase Wicksboro from human memory. When Pearsall told his story to two filmmakers, he claimed to be the only survivor from this now forgotten town. As unreliable as his story was, certain facts were able to be checked and mysteries of lost truths were indeed at the heart of Mr. Pearsall's tale. This documentary introduces Pearsall to viewers and assembles evidence that the filmmakers uncovered researching the outrageous claim.
In 1953, the entire population of Wicksboro, Texas, vanished without a ...

$50.19 VAREKAI: The mindbending French Canadian acrobatic theater troupe stars in this highly imaginative, allegorical tale about a young man who falls from the sky into a kaleidoscopic world populated by fantastic creatures at the base of a volcano. The production is a dramatic interpretation told through the use of spectacular acrobatics, performed by over 50 artists from 13 countries, focusing on in areas such as the aerial straps, juggling, Russian swings, triple trapeze, hand-balancing on canes, and many other acts. "Varekai" means "wherever" in the language of the gypsies, and the show itself pays homage to the wanderer, and the passion and beauty of the circus tradition.
FIRE WITHIN: This 13-episode Emmy Award-winning mini series follows the performers of the Cirque du Soleil, which has been captivating audiences for years. On location in the Cirque's home base of Montreal, the newly-assembled Varekai performers must now work harder than they ever have before to get ready ...

| | Shrek The Third DVD (2007) Widescreen
Elefante - Exitos film
$15.25 In the third installment of the wildly popular SHREK series of computer-animated movies, everyone's favorite hygienically challenged green ogre (voiced by Mike Myers) faces both parental and royal responsibility when his wife, Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), finds out that she is pregnant and that her father, King Harold (John Cleese), is on his death bed. The shock of these revelations leads Shrek on a journey with his loyal companions Donkey (Eddie Murphy) and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) to seek out another heir to the throne--an awkward young boy named Artie Pendragon (Justin Timberlake). Waiting in the wings is the scheming Prince Charming (Rupert Everett), who sees the perfect opportunity to make his own bid for power and rallies a villainous crew to attack the castle.
Taking over the reins from director Andrew Adamson, Raman Hui and Chris Miller fill the land of Far, Far Away with even more fairy-tale characters in SHREK THE THIRD. Although this takes away from Shrek's own screen time, it introduces the highly amusing Princess Squad--which ...
