Animated; Standard Screen; Additional Footage; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles; Director's Comments; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re The first feature length production of television's hit sci-fi animated parody is loaded with all the absurd and intelligent humor that makes the series so much fun. Planet Express has become the victim of a hostile takeover by a company of lurid spammers and the new bosses want to send Bender back in time to steal the world's most valuable treasures. Where does this ability to send him back in time come from? Fry's butt, of course. And that's just the beginning of this wild ride, with the usual cast of characters as well as cameo appearances by Al Gore and Coolio. Futurama The Movie: Bender's Big Score Movie Review Average Rating: (3.5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Excellent When I picked this up, I was expecting, essentially, a 1.5 hour episode. It was so much more than that. The jokes are all there, the crazy, absurd lines from Zoidberg and Fry are rampant, Bender being, well, Bender and all the rest of the characters maintaining the personalities you have come to know and love. This movie is exceptionally written, quick-witted, wonderfully animated and all-around a real treat to watch. As always, if you have followed the series since the beginning or bought and watched all the DVDs, you'll get just that much more out of it. Many "cameos" here; Santa, Hedonism Bot, Robot Mafia and some others which I won't spoil for you.
Bottom Line: Watch this movie. Enjoy every golden second of it. I'm sure you will. Also, I'm sure it would make a great X-Mas present ;D Submitted by NOS (Ontario) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 3 of 3 found this helpful.

Confusing plot yes, but still very fun to watch! Okay, I admit, the plot is very confusing, but that aside, everything else about this movie is excellent. The thing that stands out the most about it to me is the very beautiful artwork, it's stunning at times, and Bender's funny one-liners. The commentary is also very good too with a lot of the cast and crew throwing in litle bits of info and quips throughout. This is a great movie overall and I think the people who gave it a bad review will, after a second viewing, learn to appreciate this film a little more as time goes by. I can't remember when I've laughed less. Even as a fan of Futurama, I found this movie very disappointing. It's like the writers ran out of jokes.
There's actually a lot of nudity for a cartoon. For most of the movie Fry's rear-end is hanging out.
Also it's strangely morbid. There are many scenes with decapitations and body mutilations.
Trying to overcome the time travel paradox, the writers created a confusing and not to mention really stupid plot. Submitted by don (Sacramento, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 2 of 5 found this helpful.
Fun at first. Then Boring, then hard to follow.
Sorry that it wasn't so good. Submitted by Vince (Tampa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 2 of 5 found this helpful.
