3 stars A note about the packaging
I won't bother reviewing the material: that's been discussed at length. Once you get past the beautiful look of this box, it's surprisingly poorly designed inside. It's a big box, yet the DVDs are crammed into a hinged double slipcase that is designed, incredibly, to hold two fewer discs just nicely. The flimsy slotted panel that the items fit into was ripped from its moorings in transit. It simply cannot handle being shipped. By the way, CD Universe packed it properly; it's not their fault. The book needs to be propped up with some packing (I've improvised with bubble wrap) so it doesn't disappear down its slot. I hope they rethink the whole design by the time the next volume comes out. This thing is expensive - it should be better constructed.
