Closed Captioned; Additional Footage; Soundtrack French; English Subtitles; Director's Comments James Barnes, Erik Collins, Kerry Valderrama, and Elizabeth Ingalls co-star in this Valderrama-directed military thriller. A mystery directly inspired by the Fort Bragg mariticides of June and July 2002, GARRISON tells of a military unit searching for an A.W.O.L. member named Nathan Cross. Hints abound that the soldier may not have left voluntarily and that an onslaught of ugly violence belied his disappearance. Reaching out to their fellow enlistee, a number of soldiers set out to find the truth, but they can scarcely prepare themselves for the skeletons they will uncover.
This is the only James Barnes video. Stars also making their debut in this video: Brent Boller, Erik Collins, Jason Cox, Elizabeth Ingalls, Kerry Valderrama. $8.79 SUPERFLY, along with COFFY and SHAFT, completes Blaxploitations's best known
triumvirate. One of the highest-grossing pictures of 1972, SUPERFLY became an instant classic, and established director Gordon Parks firmly in Warner Brothers' sights to make THREE THE HARD WAY in 1974. Parks was one of the first African American directors to get financing from a major Hollywood studio to make the 1969 film THE LEARNING TREE.
Super Fly is a cocaine dealer who begins to realize that his life will soon end with either prison or his death. He decides to build an escape from the life by making his biggest deal yet, converting the coke to cash and running off to start a new life. The problem is that the Mob does not have a retirement plan and will give him a choice of staying and selling for them or dying if they find out his intentions. With a terrific score by Curtis Mayfield and a star wearing threads to match, SUPERFLY is chock full of the sass, flash, and action Blaxploitation is known for.

$15.09 When Russian rebels gain control of nuclear weapons in the USSR, the United States retaliates by deploying the USS Alabama, a nuclear submarine commanded by Captain Frank Ramsey (Gene Hackman). Veteran soldier and Naval legend Ramsey selects Lt. Commander Ron Hunter (Denzel Washington)--a Harvard graduate who prefers using brains over weapons--as his Executive Officer. While submerged, the Alabama is attacked by a Russian sub and loses radio contact just as an order is being transmitted from headquarters. Old Navy dog Ramsey firmly believes that the interrupted transmission ends with an order to fire their nuclear missiles at the Russian rebels. Hunter, desperate to avoid starting World War III, is determined to re-establish radio contact and act only after complete orders are received. Without the second-in-command's agreement, the missiles cannot be launched, and soon Ramsey and Hunter are engaged in a tense battle of wills, forcing the crew to choose sides. In the tradition ...
