Sweet Time album
$16.45 "One Day at a Time" brings something to the table never before heard out of Jon Robert Quinn. A complete CD written from just guitar. No bass, No Keyboards, and No Drums. Just the guitar mastery and melody of Jon Robert Quinn. Written at a difficult time in JRQ's life, a lot of emotion was put into this record. Each song was written and recorded in JRQ's home studio using nothing more than his guitar. Chord-progressions topped with soulful melodies make this record the power house that it is. No flashy guitar licks, like you'd typically hear in a Jon Robert Quinn record, just pretty, well placed notes that seem to be in the perfect place to make each song a favorite. Sit back in your chair and listen. Feel the emotion. Take a musical journey in the life of Jon Robert Quinn.------------------------Here's a breakdown of each song from the mind of Jon Robert Quinn.1) LOST - This song symbolizes a point in my life where I didn't know whether I should have been at that point in time. I was lost. 2) ONE DAY AT A TIME - This song was therapy for me, telling myself to take it one day at a time. I knew I would point myself in the right direction, but it would only take time. 3) WALK OF LIFE - We all walk our own path through life. We guide ourselves with our decisions. This song is a musical journey through our walk of life. 4) WIRED - This was a fun song to write. I was playing with the wah and cames up with this great riff, then built from there. I thought the song was appropriately titled Wired.5) SERINITY - There is a point in all of our lives where we need a little serinity. I would stare out the window and see nothing but mountains and dry, open land around me. Though I was lonely and missed being home, there was a sense of serinity. It was quiet. The open surroundings were so calming. 6) CLOUDS IN THE SKY - Clouds In The Sky was written and recorded in 2004 for the One Long Road. While writting and recording this album, I knew that a guitar-only version of this song would suit the album beautifully. 7) JOURNEYS - Journeys was also on the 2004 release of One Long Road. After re-creating Clouds in the Sky, I thought to myself, there may be other songs I have written that would be really nice for this collection of music. Like I said before, I was at a difficult point in my life and was a journey. Id look up and see the clouds in the sky and think about where my life at that point. This journey I am on, whether I wanted to be there or not, I would take it one day at a time. 8) BELIEVE - Believe was written and recorded in 2005 for the JeRQ THIS album. I knew that my journey would come to an end soon. I believed in myself and knew I would make the right decisions to bring myself to a place I needed to be. Though Believe had made to an album years before, I though it was be a great addition to this music collection of songs only written and recorded using 2 guitars. 9) NATIVE ...
