A cross-country car race provides the plot for this action-packed madcap comedy with an all-star cast. Cannonball Run video The fun continues from coast to coast with the likes of Burt Reynolds, Jackie Chan, Roger Moore, Farrah Fawcett, Dean Martin, Mel Tillis, Sammy Davis Jr., and dozens of others.
The film spawned a sequel that starred much of the same cast, with the addition of the likes of Susan Anton, Shirley MacLaine, Telly Savalas, and Catherine Bach Cannonball Run film.

| great humor and exotic cars
The first scene of this movie with the Lambo has great motor revs. Nice chase scene with the Highway Police Firebird.

I WENT TO GO SEE THIS MOVIE AT THE THEATRE WHEN IT WAS FUN TO GO TO THE THEATRE. THE WHOLE PLACE WAS ROLLING IN THE ILSE.

| Enjoyable romp...
Pretty good comedy from Hal Needham, with Dom Deluise providing most of the laughs as Captain Cahos. Also look for Roger Moore playing himself, and Jackie Chan driving a computerized Subaru.

| The "Cannonball" was for real in the 1960's
If you like exotic cars (Lamborghini and Aston Martin, just to name two), beautiful women (Farrah Fawcett), action/adventure movies with some comedy thrown in AND with an all-star cast--then this one's for you.
