| Jackson at his best
Alan Jackson's distinctive sound gives credence to this CD...he has the quintessential country sound that one expects of country music, and his re-makes of these classics are incredible! He pays a great tribute to the legends who made these songs forever imprinted on our souls...Jackson sings the songs as if they were written for him...I especially like "Kiss an Angel Good Morning"...he sounds just like Charley Pride...I also love the version of Margaritaville, with the Jackson-esque instrumental licks (Buffett's appearance in the recording makes it even better...sort of like Alan was messing around in the studio and Jimmy walks in and starts singing with him). This CD is a must for any Alan Jackson fan, and for any classic country fan...you will not be disappointed.

| Great New Renditions of the Old Gold!
You can't go wrong getting this CD! Especially, since Alan Jackson has his own great counrty sound. This, being applied to the Great Old songs, is a wonderful comination.

This is one of my favorite Alan Jackson albums. He does an excellent job redoing these classics and I'd love for him to make a sequel for this album. You know, something like Still Under the Influence.

| classic country music
this cd proves that country music is alive and well. this is one of alans best and i have all of them. he does these legendary artist justice in his voice and delivery of their songs.alan is one of the finest singers around today.

| best album yet
I purchased Alans latest cd and it stays on my cd player. I think it is a wonderful collections of real country songs and he does all the songs in fine style with his tribute to the artist who made country what it is today. Keep up the good work Alan
