An Adventure In Sound!
Belly of the Sun buy CD music This has to be the most innovative, intelligent album to come along in years! Cassandra Wilson continues to take chances musically and they all pay off big. She has the unique talent of taking an old pop or R&B song and giving it a whole new life. The songs that she has penned herself are the best on the album. While we all can agree that she is a talented, gifted singer and songwriter, she is also one of the best producers that I've ever heard in ANY form of music. Get ALL of her albums! Jerry Grigsby.

What a great CD!
Belly of the Sun songs I was totally amazed by the musicianship on this CD. Then I found out that the CD was recorded in extreme conditions - Summertime in Mississippi Delta... Lets talk HUMIDITY! Fellow bass players will be proud of Mark Peterson's playing. STELLAR. He and Cassandra work well off each other in concert too!
