4 stars Good Bossa Nova
As a Bossa Nova fan/collector/musician for the past 38 years, I was delightfully enertained by this CD, with Susanne's own lyrics to some of tunes, all bossa novas, a mix of slow and medium tempo tracks. Excellent improvs on piano, guitar, and tenor sax. My only criticism is that the rhythm section was too soft and mild on most tunes. The faster tunes should have been played with a "hotter" mood. I give this CD a solid "B", and is a treasure in my vast collection.
