Physical Fatness
$6.29 SHORT MUSIC FOR SHORT PEOPLE features 101 different punk bands performing 30-second songs.
Not that this hasn't been done before on albums like Wood Panel Pacer Wagon With Mags and Bllllaaarrrrrggghhh!-A Music War (which was on a 7" format no less), but that doesn't mean a compilation featuring over 100 bands on one record never fails to entertain. And the advantage Short Music for Short People has in comparison to the aforementioned records is that 80 percent of the bands on here fall under the "melodic pop-punk" classification. That and all the punk rock superstars can be found on here: Rancid, Black Flag, NOFX, Bad Religion, the Descendants, D.O.A., Less Than Jake, ...
| | NOFX Punk In Drublic CD (1994)
Physical Fatness
$9.89 Though NOFX have stuck closely to their powerhouse hard-and-fast pop-punk sensibility since their inception in 1983, their focus, chemistry, and songwriting skills improved steadily over the years, and '94's PUNK IN DRUBLIC is arguably their finest moment. If not for their in-your-face punk aesthetic, NOFX would qualify as a fine power-pop band. A knack for harmonies and deft, melodic hooks (which are seemingly tossed out left and right throughout the album) are no small part of the band's success, as the anthemic chorus of "The Cause" and the ringing refrain and "da-na-na-na" bridge of "Leave It Alone" prove.
But NOFX rocks like nobody's ...

| | Peter Bruntnell Normal For Bridgewater CD (2000)
Physical Fatness
$10.39 This is the third release by British singer-songwriter Peter Bruntnell. The album's title makes reference to the English town of Bridgwater, in Somerset, also known as the cider-drinking capitol of the country. A local doctor reportedly would list his patients as "normal for Bridgwater" in their medical histories. The core quartet is a rough-and-tumble outfit that perfectly fits Bruntnell's songs. They're ...

$11.79 The name Ardoin has been "legend" within the Creole/Cajun music community for over a century. Amede and Alphonse "Boi Sec" Ardoin are two creole musicians whose music influenced many, if not all, Creole/Cajun music heard today. Chris was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana where he still resides today and attends McNeese St. University where he studies engineering.
