These two albums were easy listening records, with light folk, country, and pop influences. While Ames sounds out of place on "Blowin' in the Wind," "Yesterday," and "Monday, Monday," the overall quality of the material is quite high, and singles like "My Cup Runneth Over" and "Time, Time" help make these two records some of Ames' best work of the era. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine

Wow! More than I expected!
What a great CD! With the 2 albums combined into 1 CD, the value was awesome.
The CD itself was flawless, just perfect. It was like he was singing live.

I had this album until I couldn't find a turntable to play it any longer - that and the fact I simply wore extra grooves in the album playing it so often. I miss hearing Ed Ames' wonderful voice. This fan would be thrilled to hear that a new CD is in the works. Could it happen?

A native of Greeley, Colorado, he is a descendant of generations of farmers, ranchers, and stockmen on both sides of his family. For years he has worked on, managed, owned, and operated horse and cow outfits in the Rockies. He has made his living doing everything from cowboying to guiding to even driving stagecoaches.
