This Collectables compilation gathers several of their best sides from the '50s and '60s, including "I Only Have Eyes for You" and "Goodnight Sweetheart." Most of the album's other eight tracks follow suit, delivering smooth productions and beautiful harmonies, particularly on "As Time Goes By," "Love Walked In," and "When I Fall in Love." "In the Still of the Night," however, hints at the livelier side of the Flamingos. While the quality of the music collected here is good, this collection is missing too many of the group's essential songs, and its relatively scant ten-song length makes it hard to recommend to any but the most casual Flamingos fans. ~ Heather Phares

After his aborted, internet-leaked 2008 album, 12 PLAY: 4TH QUARTER, R. Kelly busied himself with guest spots for Beyonce, T-Pain, and Kanye West, even offering a free download on iTunes, "I Believe," inspired by the election of president Barack Obama. While such moves insured that Kelly would never stray far from the R&B throne he's occupied for more than a decade, his 2009 reboot of 12 PLAY, UNTITLED, should provide more than enough reason for fans to keep coming back for more. From Auto Tune-laden crowd pleasers like "Outta the Game" and "Crazy Night" to rousing club-oriented numbers like "Echo," Kelly downplays the slower "baby-making" jams this time around for a set of largely up-tempo songs, capped by a sultry collaboration with Keri Hilson ("Number One").

-Victim of Thought - Biography-Victim of Thought is an original Metal/Hard Rock band from Birmingham, Alabama and formed in 2005. The line up is: Scott, Benny, Rikki and Ed_E. Each of whom have veteran experience in the Birmingham and regional Hard Rock/Metal scene.
