I lost this album (vinyl) to basement water damage years ago. Am very grateful to have it back in an even better medium.

 The Classic Sound of the Percy Faith Strings Returns!
Canadian-born Percy Faith recorded three beautiful albums of strictly string music, and the first two are heard on this cd. Faith proves why he was a superb writer for string orchestra, and in fact, influenced another Canadian-born orchestra leader, Robert Farnon, in his early years. Of the two, my favourite is Bouquet of Love, although due to space restrictions, three tracks from the original album had to be deleted here. That included a Faith original, Music Until Midnight, which is a real shame. But overall, this is mood music at its finest, and a perfect tonic after a long hard day.

 A trip back in time
Lovely, lilting violins, superb material choices. Listen to a moment in time when the word 'music' really meant something.
