Full performer name: John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band. Personell: John Cafferty (vocals, guitar); Kenny Vance (vocals); Gary Gramolini (guitar); Michael "Tunes" Atunes (saxophone); Robert Nicholas Cotoia (piano); Pat Lupo (bass); Kenny Jo Silva (drums). There was a year's delay before this film, which concerns the mysterious death of a fictional '60s rock star, took off via video and cable TV; but when it did, the soundtrack album, featuring such songs as "On the Dark Side" and "Tender Years," by John Cafferty And The Beaver Brown Band, took off with it. To most, the music sounded like Bruce Springsteen clones, but it was appealing nonetheless. ~ William Ruhlmann Eddie & The Cruisers Soundtrack Music John Cafferty Eddie & The Cruisers Soundtrack Songs | 1. | On the Dark Side | |

Grand Funk Railroad: Mark Farner (vocals, guitar, harp, organ); Don Brewer (vocals, drums, percussion); Craig Frost (keyboards, percussion, background vocals); Mel Schacher (bass, background vocals). Recorded live in Terre Haute, Indiana, Toledo, Ohio and Baltimore, Maryland in February 1975. Originally released on Capitol (11445). Includes liner notes by Steve Roeser. All tracks have been digitally remastered. By 1975, Grand Funk Railroad had reached a new level of fame and fortune thanks to pop-friendly albums like We're an American Band and Shinin' On. At the time they were a secular group. Later in the year, Chris received a vision from the Lord stating: “IF YOU DO THIS MUSIC FOR ME, I WILL MAKE IT THE BIGGEST THING EVER.” Receiving that revelation and letting Harold know what God told him, they started drifting away from the music. In 1996, after graduating high school, both men went there separate ways. Harold went on to serve his country enlisting in the Marines and Chris stayed home and went to College. In 2002, Chris joined a ministry by the name of Thunderstorm, where he found his true talent in his heritage, Reggae music. During the time he was with Thunderstorm making music and spreading God’s word, he and Harold got back in contact with each other. In mid ...
