Rag Doll album for sale by Four Seasons was released May 06, 2008 on the Curb label. The Seasons' third (!) album of 1964 (Return with us now to the thrilling days of yesteryear, when rock bands actually had a work ethic) was their first to feature primarily original material, as always from the pen of their genius songwriter/producer Bob Crewe. The sole exception was a gorgeously arranged and sung version of Cole Porter's "I've Got You Under My Skin," which would, ironically, become a hit for the group two years later. a Great album,BUT.....
I have the original album,on a stereo disc,and a CD. With the CD,Iwas disappointed,because yhe songs are not in the same order,as on the album,and,Iam curious,why On Broadway Tonight,was not on the CD,but Under My Skin,was,when Cole Porter,hadn't written it until '65,and the Seasons,didn't record it until '66,yet it was placedon a remake of a 1964 album.
