Everywhere, Tim McGraw's fourth album, finds the vocalist in a bit of a rut, following the same formula of slick ballads and measured rockers that made his second record, Not a Moment Too Soon, a blockbuster success. That's not necessarily a bad thing, since he remains an appealing singer when he has the right material, such as on the single "It's Your Love." In fact, it's the ballads that work better here; they prove truly outstanding and even moving: "You Just Get Better All the Time," the title track, and "I Do But I Don't." When he has a lesser tune, however, the results are bland and uneventful "Hard on the Ticker" is an example. Those songs don't prevent Everywhere from being a pleasant listen, and it satisfied his legions of fans well enough, but it did suggest that he should break free from these constraints and move toward the excellence he was capable of and eventually delivered. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine & Thom Jurek EVERYWHERE starts out strong with "Where The Green Grass Grows," a rocking anthem for country living, guaranteed to make even city folks hum along. And though the album contains its fair share of up-tempo songs, the real treats here are the slower ballads. Tim McGraw may wear a big, imposing hat, but under the brim lies a sensitive soul. "It's Your Love" is a heartfelt torch song duet with Tim's wife, Faith Hill. Tim's strength stems from willingness to share his vulnerability. The title song tells the story of a past love, now hopelessly out of reach. The singer imagines her everywhere he's not. While the protagonist may never find this woman, no matter where she travels, it's likely to be difficult for her to avoid hearing at least one song off EVERYWHERE, so solid is the appeal of this proven hit-maker.Entertainment Weekly (6/13/97, p.66) - "...In the two years since ALL I WANT's release, McGraw, 30, has become a millionaire, married country's Faith Hill, had a daughter, and gained respect as a producer...EVERYWHERE, reflects these changes....[it] chronicles a man in transition..." - Rating: B Everywhere Music Review Average Rating: (4.7 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews A must have for every Tim McGraw fan! The Man With The Voice Hey. I'm a big fan of Tim McGraw. I must say this man found his destiny in life, singing those songs I can't get enough of. I envy every one of his songs. My favorite album of Tim is his 3rd album, "All I Want". My opinion is that this album is his most countriest album. I also enjoy the "Everywhere" Album, it tells a lot about me. The "live like you were dying" was a real bang. To me, this album has many 3rd person songs, if you know what I mean. My favorite songs of Tim McGraw are Everywhere, Renegade, Telluride, Drugs Or Jesus, and many more! Submitted by Castellanos7114 (Lewisville, TX, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
WHEN I FELL IN LOVE WITH THAT GREAT VOICE! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !! Somone once told me that he wrote music for Tim McGraw. I told him that he was not one of my favorites. I poured out my heart about somethings in my life, and he asked me for my first name. I made up a name that was Patty Sue. Patty was a girl that I had known who had gotten burned by someone. Sue, is part of my middle name. We had chatted for several weeks. A few months later a song came out. The words were amazing. It was what I had talked about to my friend. I asked the DJ on the radio to play that song again. I recorded it. I wrote the words down and it was dejevoo. It all came back to me. That was such a healing song. My feelings grew more for Tim McGraw and his song writers. That song had a way of touching my heart like no other song in history. I have not stopped buying his music. I try to read everything I can about Tim,Faith, and his band. What a guy to sing this song. It showed a lot of sensitivity in this man. How can you not fall in love with such a guy? How can you not go on in life and not smile after you hear his sweet passionate voice? If you got a heartache, listen to his music.A friend of mine was crying cause she got dumped by her boyfriend. I told her, now don't you cry, I have Tim McGraw tickets to his benefit concert. He knows how to heal a heartache.
Your the best TIM MCGRAW. Don't stop singing my sweet dear friend.

Recorded in Jajouka, Morocco in January 1973 and at Barclay Studios, Paris, France on December 28, 1975. Personnel: Ornette Coleman (alto saxophone, percussion); Charles Ellerbee, Bern Nix (guitar); The Master Musicians of Jajouka (strings, reeds, percussion); Robert Palmer (clarinet); Ronald Shannon Jackson (drums, percussion). Liner Note Author: Ornette Coleman. Recording information: Barclay Studios, Paris, France (01/??/1973-12/28/1975). Following the symphonic explorations of 1972's Skies of America, Ornette Coleman became fascinated with the music of Morocco. Dancing in Your Head is the chaotic result of that experimental period with the formation of Prime Time. "Theme From a Symphony" (Variation One and Two) is a 27-minute dervish whirlwind mixed with funk. This was the first opportunity listeners had to hear the two-guitar assault of Charles Ellerbee and Bern Nix. With its infectious danceable melody, Coleman fused these musics together in a unique unpredictable way that ...

$11.85 Arch Enemy: Angela Gossow (vocals); Michael Amott, Christopher Amott (guitars); Sharlee d'Angelo (bass guitar); Daniel Erlandsson (drums). One gets the feeling that Doomsday Machine is something of a make-or-break album for Sweden's Arch Enemy. Easily the most commercial effort of the band's career thus far, it signals that dangerous moment in any heavy metal band's existence when, in a bid for acceptance on a wider scale, the bandmembers must risk upsetting the loyal fan base that has carried them thus far. Then again, original diehards already accused Arch Enemy of selling out years before, when they replaced popular frontman Johan Liiva with newcomer Angela Grossow and inaugurated their experiments with more subtle metallic songwriting tricks. And when your man in charge is Michael Amott, survivor of countless heavy metal style battles and long-deceased former bands, guitar-driven overkill is really the only surefire guarantee -- with risk-taking simply a function of the game. Doomsday Machine's "game" begins with "Enter the Machine," a majestic, harmony-laden instrumental that some might find more adequate for a power metal album than anything from Arch Enemy, but which actually proves very fitting as exceedingly melodious songs like "Taking Back My Soul," "Mechanic God Creation," and "Slaves of Yesterday" proceed to be unleashed. The serious thrashing of yesteryear is dominant on only a couple of cuts: the rather average "Machtkampf" and the quite memorable "Nemesis," neither of them sacrificing their melodic touches, as the Amott brothers appear intent on chugging out cleaner, linear riffs instead, and leave drummer Daniel Erlandsson to account for much of the hyperactivity from ...
