Livingston Taylor has been making records for nearly as long as his more famous brother though, unfortunately, with nowhere near the frequency. A talented songwriter in his own right (and most of the album is written or co-written by him) he's a good judge of other people's songs. Two fine examples are "No Easy Way to Break Somebody's Heart" by Barry Mann (Yup, the "Who Put the Bomp" guy) and the Jerome Kerns classic "The Way You Look Tonight." While some may categorize Livingston as a sensitive singer/songwriter type, don't get the wrong idea. THIS IS NO MUZAK ALBUM. Like all his previous work, it's worth the money. ~ Jim Worbois

Our Turn To Dance CD music
$15.29 This compilation contains 38 songs, including many new remixes from original master tapes, 6 previously unreleased songs, alternate versions of 3 others, and a comprehensive 36 page booklet, with historic liner notes and photos.
This excellent two-disc collection captures Poco's finest moments from the days when they were laying down the template for all the country-rock music that was to follow. It's hard to remember, but when the Eagles first hit the scene, they were thought by many to be a Poco-wannabe band. Listen to this set and you'll hear why. The Forgotten Trail (1969-1974) culls tracks from Poco's first eight albums, as well as unreleased cuts and singles. From the classic anthem "Pickin' Up the Pieces," which kicks things off, through "You Better Think ...

Our Turn To Dance songs
$16.45 Real MusicJust Guts and GuitarsCountry Rock"You'll find two flavors of Randy Whitt on stage: one leads the honky-tonking Randy Whitt and the Grits, and the other occupies the rootsy and rugged end of the singer-songwriter spectrum, equally comfortable backed by a pedal steel or a laid-back horn section. Same talented dude, different shades of twang." - Rick Cornell Independent WeeklyAfter finishing a national tour, including stops in L.A., Abilene, Tuscaloosa, Athens, Phoenix, and Honolulu in support of his independently released recordings Randy is back home. He has recorded his 4th CD called The Good The Bad and The Grits, featuring his band the grits. This new recording will be released on Nov. 2nd.Here's a quote about Randy's last album "We've had some trouble"The Sound Of Things to Come"This CD sat on my shelf for a week before I got around to listening to it. You know, the whole busy life thing. But then, I listened to it, and then again, and then again. This is not a work intended for the consuming masses. This is a work intended ...
