San Francisco native Jocelyn Enriquez released her debut Tommy Boy Records release Jocelyn in 1997. Enriquez's Paula Abdul-like voice is pleasant enough to carry the mostly unremarkable dance-pop tunes on the album, but a few moments truly shine. The Latin-style "Lovely People" is a keeper, the dance club hit "Do You Miss Me" is irresistibly catchy, and she turns the Yazoo ballad "Only You" into engaging house music. The club hit "A Little Bit of Ecstasy" is by far the best track here. The sultry vocal, naughty lyrics, and unpredictable tempo changes make "A Little Bit of Ecstasy" a dancefloor classic along the lines of Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby." Unfortunately, Jocelyn is marred by too many schmaltzy ballads. But Jocelyn is generally an entertaining and often captivating listen, as long as the music is directed toward the dancefloor. ~ William Cooper
Includes the singles A Little Bit Of Ecstasy, Do You Miss Me and a cover of Yaz/Yazoo's Only You.

Jocelyn album
$15.65 Puff Daddy was nominated for the 1998 Grammy Award for Best New Artist. NO WAY OUT won the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Album. "I'll Be Missing You" won and "Can't Nobody Hold Me Down" was nominated for the 1998 Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance By A Duo Or Group.
As in the case of Teddy Riley or Dr. Dre, it is not unlikely for a producer-extraordinaire to step to the forefront as an artist. With the release of NO WAY OUT, Sean "Puffy" Combs adds to an extensive musical resume. From hip-hop dancer to hit-making producer to CEO of Bad Boy Entertainment to recording artist, Puff Daddy has proven to be a man of many talents.
Puffy's debut as an entertainer showcases both hardcore ("It's All About The Benjamins Remix") and mainstream ("Do You Know?") hip-hop songs. As a producer, Puff Daddy is the master when it comes to sampling old records and turning them into new hits, as he does with his tribute to The Notorious B.I.G. on "I'll Be Missing You," which incorporates the music from The Police's "Every Breath You Take." Other songs give Puffy a chance to test his own rap skills, like "Is This The End?" which matches him up with the world's fastest rapper, Twista.

| | Total Kima, Keisha & Pam CD (1998)
Jocelyn CD music
$9.09 On their second album, '90s soul sistas JaKima Raynor, Keisha Spivey, and Pam Long sex up their lives, and everything around them, quite a bit. Turning their fairly standard take on the hip-hop girl group into a late-night bath of delight, they invite a who's-who roster into the tub with them (producers here include Missy Elliott, Sean "Puffy" Combs, and Heavy D, among others). The best track, "Trippin'," is an Elliott-produced slice of robotic R&B that combines the gals' sweet harmonies with state-of-the-soul-art studio savvy. But the studio-powered Kima, Keisha & Pam ultimately loses its individuality while trying to be a part of the streets and scene, brimming with the sounds of the world around it. ~ Michael Gallucci

Jocelyn songs
$18.99 I started to DJ, after successively keeping three different clubs, hyped up each week, in drawing large crowds with my DJ capabilities. I acquired the named Rock T. Mellow from my DJ abilities.I drew interest from Stevie B. Hill, who at this time was starting his record label Midtown Records, and releasing his new song called Party Your Body, after successively mixing, this song in clubs, and on the radio, helping Stevie B. promote his record call Party Your Body, I started to work with him in his studio.Where as, in 1994, I successfully produced a song called House Your Body, on his then Record Label called Secret Records, at this time my group name was under Basic Necessity. The song went National and started Lets Get Ready to Rumble, this was the first song in the U.S. released with that intro, at that time, after that the whole Let's Get Ready to Rumble, crave started.I was introduced to Mario Martinelli, in January of 1994, where we then proceeded to assemble a recording studio. At this time the Company Too-Ruff Productions was established, under sole ownership of Rock "T" Mellow. At this time Mario Martinelli, brought to me Enrique Iglesia, to proceed in teaching him how to Sing, anticipates the beat, and establish his singing parameters, myself Rock T Mellow and Mario Martinelli proceeded to teaching and coach Enrique Iglesia for about six months. Since we needed a keyboardist we brought in Roberto Morales, and we continue to coach him until his first appearance of the 7th October 1996, on the Channel 23 Spanish Univision Network. My strength mainly lies in my producing abilities, with the abilities to produce R&B, Pop Dance, Techno, Dance, Hip-hop, Gangsta Rap, Ballots, Trance, Spanish Dance, Bass and Booty Shake, my producing capabilities is unlimited. I Love Dance Rap, and sense all rappers wants to be Gangsta rappers or Thug rapper and no one wants to be a Dance Rapper, I except the responsibilities of keeping depth, imagination, a groove that you can dance too, a production that makes you just Want to shake your Ass too. Now I know by doing this, I figure Rappers will coming out of the woodworks to challenge me the for this particular title, but lets see what happens, maybe this will make the rappers and the production crews give some more complex thought, and give some imagination, to the grooves, not just using simple loops with no imagination, and simple beats, ...

Jocelyn songs
$21.29 The album cover is a tumble down shack in Tower Minnesota about an hour north of here....Highway 4 to up north and Hwy 61 up the shore are just littered with these places and one time coming back from fishing on a Sunday night I saw this place with an old orange truck out back, just abandoned on this beautiful property and started to think about what a history that place must have had and how great it would be to drop everything and reclaim it. That song became International Scout and the rest of the record became a loosely knit story of this young couple that reclaims this old farm with idealist country living dreams and of course it's never as easy as it seems and there's always a push and pull between thinking you want the security and solitude of a remote homestead and settling down but still being drawn reluctantly like a moth to the bright lights of being prone to wander. The ultimate hope of resolve is a gathering of friends and family, playing music in the kitchen on a Saturday night and achieving the balance of controlled chaos that a night of handmade acoustic music has offered to people for generations. So that's the story of record, the connection being Timber and Steel being huge industries up here, and alot of these old farmsteads left behind from the ebbs of the industry. The Timber and Steel that built the homesteads. And ultimately the Timber and Steel that makes the instruments that play the record._________________________________________________________Influenced by the likes of fellow Midwesterners Greg Brown and Spider John Koerner, Eric ...
