Evilive album for sale by Misfits was released Mar 11, 1997 on the Plan 9 (Label) label. The Misfits' first live album, Evilive, was recorded at a pair of shows in November (New York's Ritz Theatre) and December 1981 (San Francisco's On Broadway), then released all of one year later as a seven-song EP, before being augmented with five more songs for a 1987 reissue as a proper album. Mind you, these belated additions still only brought the set's entire run time to 24 minutes, which was actually a good representation of the legendary horror punk outfit's intensely short but sweet performances. The Misfits are something an arrogant critic (such as the one whos review is shown here) could never appreciate. The Misfits rule. Especially live.

It's a live punk album!
Wow, this is a live punk album and I don't think any of the live soundboard techs or tech were thinking of the LIVE sound "reproduction".

Great Band, Poor Recording
I love the Misfits and have all the albums, T-shirts & posters. I'm a big Danzig fan and even bought a CD by the godawful Samhain.
