The musicians' joy to play together and their will to serve the music, themselves and the audience makes their concerts memorable. Georg Hofmann founded Shades of Time in 2002. The group released their first CD "Dreaming Mexico" (Quindecim) in 2004. They played multiple tours in Mexico and Europe appearing at Festival Internacional Cervantino (Mexico), Aalener Jazzfest (Germany), Festival Diesseits vom Jenseits (Switzerland) and Festival Frida Kahlo (Mexico).
