Released in 1995, Tweaked marked a new beginning for Enuff Z'Nuff, as the Chicago natives attempted to put their drug problems, financial straits, and especially their major label woes behind them. The release of the previous year's 1985 album (so named because it comprised nothing more than the band's first demo recordings) had killed two birds with one stone, earning the boys some well-needed pocket change, and effectively doing away with all of singer Donnie Vie and bassist Chip Z'Nuff's creative output thus far. For the most part, Tweaked finds Enuff Z'Nuff in a more psychedelic, laid-back groove than on previous records, starting with very first track "Stoned" and all the way through cheeky closer "How Am I Supposed to Write a Love Song?" In between, they strut their way through the swaggering "If I Can't Have You," glide across the easy blues of "Without Your Love," and evoke melodies past in somewhat derivative numbers like "We're All Alright" and "Life Is Strange." Even at its most extreme, however, Tweaked never really starts to cook. The acoustic "My Heroin" steals blatantly from the Beatles (surprise!), while the cryptic "Mr. Jones" see the group exploring its darker side, but without ever raising its voice. Still, the band can produce a gorgeous ballad when pressed, and the excellent "It's Too Late" certainly bears that distinction. In short, Tweaked clearly represented an attempt to regroup, and Enuff Z'Nuff would carry on with building confidence from here on out. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia

| | Metallica Death Magnetic CD (2008)
Tweaked
$15.65 Metallica: James Hetfield (vocals, guitar); Kirk Hammett (guitar); Robert Trujillo (bass guitar); Lars Ulrich (drums). The world at large got a fly-on-the-wall view of the creation of Metallica's 2003 album, ST. ANGER, via the documentary SOME KIND OF MONSTER, so we know they consciously tried to keep things contemporary at that time by avoiding fleet-fingered solos and eschewing the sound of the "old" Metallica. If that hoary old term "return to form" ever applied to a rock album, though, it's ANGER's follow-up, DEATH MAGNETIC. In the five years between the two releases, Metallica seem to have gotten back in touch with the raw power of their classic period, ...

| | Rammstein Reise, Reise CD (2004)
Tweaked
$11.99 Taking three years to release their follow-up to Mutter is a good idea since Reise, Reise is more of the same -- the same grit, the same growl, and the same dramatic, orchestra choruses. There's a bit more ingenuity in the production and a little more focus in the songs but not enough for the nonfaithful to pick up on. Unfortunately the lead single, "Mein Teil," is no "Du Hast," but the damning "Amerika" almost equals their breakthrough track. Whether or not Rammstein's label has the guts to release the band's acerbic "Coca-Cola/Sometimes War" view of the States as a single is another question, but it's the key track to the album, an album that has a couple more, minor surprises. The loose, bluesy guitar on "Los" adds some quirk to the band's stern, Teutonic palette, while the sinister "Stein Um Stein" creeps ...

$14.69 About Bo Jenkins' ROADTRAIN Hi all, I'm Peter the drummer with ROADTRAIN and I'll be hosting this site. These are some tracks from our NEW ALBUM. If you want any info or want to hear more don't hesitate to email me.We joined forces about 4 years ago when Bo moved to the Gold Coast from Melbourne. Bo was originaly from Little Rock, Arkansas which directly influences our style in a Southern Rock vein. We play many of the Blues and Country festivals around Australia and gig mainly up and down the east coast in between. People find it hard to pigeon hole our music (judge for yourself) but we like to just kick arse when we can. I call it ROCKIN'COUNTRY BLUESRevered as an original artist in his own right, releasing three previous albums, Bo has been on stage with some impressive acts in the United States including 'Reba McIntyre', 'BB King', 'Kansas' and 'Albert King' to name a few. His uncanny knack of playing left handed upside down has left many players agast at his dexterity and unique approach. Maton have just endorsed Bo with a range unique guitars suited to his eclectic style...... www.bojenkinsI started playing drums with brass bands, the National Youth Orchestra and Sydney Symphony Orchestra before going full time with 'Finch', 'Swanee' and the 'Col Joye Show'. Moved to the Gold Coast and joined Phil Emanuel's 'Kakadu', played a no. of inhouse gigs and backed many artists, live and in the studio. I have a gig as a sound engineer at the Gold Coast Arts Centre and play in some of the productions as well as operate a recording studio at home. Recently played and recorded with Gwyn Ashton from the U.K and Geordie Leech from Rose Tattoo...... www.myspace.com/petermcfarlanedrumsMichel our bass player is Conservatory trained specialising in jazz studies, while his real interest lies in live performance with acts such as Mike McLelland, Three Way Radio, The Intruders and Hi Home I'm Honey. Michel is also an avid teacher of music in his home region of Northern New South Wales...... http://members.iinet.net.au/~voets_drumWe're just trying to connect to as many people as will ...
