The second album from New Jersey exotica experts Everlounge covers much of the same territory explored on the group's first effort, Vodka Context. Nice Set of Maracas, however, is exceedingly richer, more complex, and generally far more developed. Whereas before Everlounge, as good as they were, made music that sounded a bit like cartoonish backing tracks for lead singer Don Dazzo's tongue in cheek musings, here the group has become a fully gelled band.
