 Queen's hits on CD and remembering Freddie Mercury!
This collection by the late and death back in the 1990's from lead singer Freddie Mercury who died of AIDS. Was probably a tragic moment for his band members when they heard the bad news. Anyways the CD contains all of their classic songs remembered by 2 favorites I like on here is the famous "Bohemian Rhapsody" from the Saturday Night Live TV sketch comedy based on and into the movie WAYNE'S WORLD with Mike Myers and Dana Carvey. And also a song duet Freddie Mercury & Queen did with David Bowie called "Under Pressure". This CD is the best especially the band photos and some album covers by them they did in the 70's, 80's and 90's that were on this CD to look at.

 OK Look! For the Last Time!
Ok so here's the deal! Classic Queen came out and I like many purchased it because quite frankly a few of the songs caught my eye, Bohemian Rhapsody and Keep Yourself Alive being two of those songs! I like many was dissappointed to see that many of their hits were left off thinking this was some sort of Greatest Hits cd! This cd really had no time reference, either, it had old stuff mixed in with the newer stuff. While I'm one who can go without Radio Ga Ga and a few others on this cd, there were some surprises. One Vision is an excellent song as well as Tie Your Mother Down and two or three others. Overall I don't believe this is as good as Greatest Hits (Hollywood), which at the time I didn't know they were about to release later that year. I guess their marketing people figured they could sell this stuff before the good stuff was released is the only reason I can figure they just didn't release the pair as a double cd. Not everything that's a radio hit is necesarrily always the good stuff. Personally, I think this purchased with Greatest Hits (Hollywood), which incidentally has the same art work only different color is still a better value than Greatest Hits I, II and III. So shut up about which songs belong on which cd and buy both! Either that or burn your own cds!

 Not quite the greatest of Queen's late period...
Bohemian Rhapsody and Tie Your Mother Down should have gone on Hollywood's "Queen, Greatest Hits" album, as well as Stone Cold Crazy. The reasoning is to allow other songs of the late period, such as "Innuendo", and in place of "One Year of Love" there should be "Princes of the Universe". But aside from that, this Album is great! 1 song from Sheer Heart Attack, NATO, DATR, and Hot Space, 2 from The Works and The Miracle, and 4 from Innuendo and A Kind of Magic (i forgot one from Queen 1) makes 17 of queen's greatest hits of the 80s and 90s. A must get if you're getting into queen

 Great Companion to the Greatest Hits release
I noted that this album had no review, so i decided to write one. The Greatest Hits album covers material up to about 1980, and this album takes where it left off. It is almost identical to Greatest Hits II as far as track listing. It takes a few listens for a few of the songs, but if you were a fan in the 80's, chances are youre already accustomed to this Queen style, which is much different from that of the 70's. (I like to think Queen had Four diffent periods... Early 70's - Art Rock... Mid to Late 70's - Hard Rock... Early 80's - Funk/Rock... Late 80's and early 90's - Soft Rock). This is definitely a good buy if you are a new fan... but not if you own the Greatest Hits II album. Highlights are: Under Pressure and Bohemian Rhapsody.
