The freshness she feels in that sense of discovery is evoked by the cuts on the film's soundtrack, which sparkle with a cross-cultural appeal that mixes rap, R&B, and pop. The film's theme song is a perfect example of this cross-pollenization, as we hear interpolations of the chorus from Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors" set against an R&B track full of hip-hop beats. Looking for song...
I like the music from this movie but would like to know what the name of the songs is when derek came down the stairs with his friend in the club... It was a short version but would very much love to know who sings it too.
