| Good post-Merchant release
When Natalie Merchant left 10,000 Maniacs in 1993, everyone thought that was the end of the multiplatinum group. However, the five guys continued on with the group, adding vocalist Mary Ramsey and former Maniacs guitarist John Lombardo to the line-up. For starters, Natalie is one of the most gifted vocalists and songwriters in music today, so for Mary to even come close to Natalie would have been a surprise.

| Not bad
This really isn't a bad cd even though it was released after Natalie Merchant left. It doesn't hold the same power the previous albums had, but isn't really all that bad.
