Tintypes Soundtrack CD music
$10.39 In the late 1990s, the television show SOUTH PARK sparked a trend of using figures associated with children's entertainment, such as puppets and animated characters, in the service of adult comedy. Depending on your viewpoint, this either generates marvelously clever social critique or cheap, tasteless jokes. Adding to the controversy is AVENUE Q, the smash Broadway hit that reads like a thinly veiled SESAME STREET parody, in which a ...

$10.65 For anyone hasn't watched episodes of the Disney animated series PHINEAS AND FERB, it's highly recommended. It is a Saturday morning cartoon comedy that stars two irrepressibly inventive, multi-talented mischievous nerd geniuses (who happen to be stepbrothers), their vain, hyperactive, scheming sister Candace, and their pet platypus that ...

$16.55 Original Cast Recording/Original Soundtrack/Martin Yates (Conductor): George Dvorsky, Megan Kelly , Janis Kelly , Donald Maxwell, Tom McVeigh, Harry Nicoll, Gordon Sandison, Gareth Snook, Maurice Clarke.
Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe's 1947 Broadway musical Brigadoon, a fantasy about two disillusioned 20th century New Yorkers who find romance in a magical 18th century Scottish village, was the songwriting team's first big success, boasting a score that included the standards "Almost Like Being in Love," "The Heather on the Hill," and "Come to Me, Bend to Me." Over the years, it spawned a series of recordings, including the original Broadway cast album; the 1954 original motion picture soundtrack album with Gene Kelly; a studio cast album with Jack Cassidy and Shirley Jones recorded in 1957 and released in 1958; the 1966 original television soundtrack album with Robert Goulet; the 1988 London revival cast album; and a studio cast album conducted by John McGlinn recorded in 1991 and released in 1992. Of these, arguably the best is the Cassidy/Jones album, since both the Broadway and soundtrack discs are incomplete representations of the score. But this studio cast recording from 1995, starring George Dvorsky, who appeared in an unrecorded New York City Opera production, and featuring ...
| | Grand Funk Railroad Greatest Hits CD (2006)
Tintypes Soundtrack CD music
$8.59 Derided in its time for the frequent overblown publicity campaigns of its manager Terry Knight, the late-1960s and early-'70s rock behemoth Grand Funk Railroad nevertheless achieved consistent chart success until the mid-'70s. This set collects many of the songs that made the outfit one of the early '70s' most popular bands, including "We're an American Band," "Mean Mistreater," and their cover of Little Eva's '60s hit, "The ...
