These four discs comprise the complete selection of alternate and master takes from Charlie Parker's Dial sessions in Hollywood and New York in 1946 and 1947 (plus an informal jam session from the home of Chuck Kopely in Los Angeles, shortly after Bird got out of the California State Hospital at Camarillo). This is the first time they've been available in one package since being issued on Warner Bros. in the late '70s.
