||Mellon Collie and the Infinite Genius|
This is the Smashing Pumpkins at their prime. Mellon Collie is the most meaningful, beautiful, diverse, and flawless album I have ever had the pleasure to hear. This is undoubtedly the best of the Pumpkins albums, and in this album, unlike others, Billy stepped back and let James Iha, D'Arcy Wretzky, and Jimmy Chamberlain radiate their passion and talent. Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness gives all double disc albums a run for their money, including, yes, Pink Floyd's "The Wall." My favorite tracks are Stumbleine, Lily, Zero, Bullet With Butterfly Wings, Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, An Ode to No One, Bodies, and Farewell and Goodnight. A GREAT BUY AND AMAZING LISTENING EXPERIENCE.

|Best of the 90's|
One of the best complete albums ever by any artist! Its more than worth it to listen to both of the cds all the way through, all you need is a couple hours. "1979" is phenomenol, "Zero" and "Bullet With Butterfly Wings" will be classics if they aren't already.

||Simply one of the Best Albums of the last 50 years|
i cannot say enough good things about this album. it has everything. killer heavy riffs, juxtaposed with melodic acoustic and piano interludes. this album reminds me ALOT of Pink FLoyd's the Wall. except this is a more rocking modern version of it. Nonetheless, it is in the same league as the Wall and perhaps is even better. As for the reviewer who says this isn't metal. Hes right. The Smashing Pumpkins have never been metal and anyone who ever assumed they were, have been living under a rock for the past 20 years. THis is a definite 5.
