| | Bob & Doug McKenzie Great White North CD (1982)
Merchant Of Venice CD music
$7.75 Great White North is the hit comedy album from Bob & Doug McKenzie, better known as SCTV veterans Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas, respectively. There's one serious problem, though. It's not very funny as a whole. The shtick is that the McKenzie brothers are lazy, beer-swilling dimwits who focus on Canadian culture and rely heavily on slang interjections and put-downs like "take off," "beauty, eh?," and "hoser." Only two selections are truly noteworthy. The first is the catchy novelty hit "Take Off," which features Rush's Geddy Lee singing on the chorus. The edited single eliminated ...

Merchant Of Venice CD music
$7.49 SONGS & MORE SONGS BY TOM LEHRER contains the two albums SONGS BY TOM LEHRER and MORE OF TOM LEHRER on one CD. Originally released in 1953 and 1959.
Tom Lehrer recorded rather sporadically starting in the 1950s then abruptly retired in the mid-'60s from his unique solo musical comedy act. He's a competent pianist with a voice that is perfect for his original material. This compilation combines both of his records that were originally pressed and sold privately on the Lehrer label, which he later re-recorded with improved sound for Reprise as Songs by Tom Lehrer ...

| | Rodney Carrington Morning Wood CD (2000)
Merchant Of Venice songs
$11.35 Country comedian Rodney Carrington is essentially a good ol' boy version of Pauly Shore, or to make a closer to down-home comparison, a sort of X-rated Minnie Pearl. Which is to say that he may be country, but one rather doubts that he'll ever play the Grand Ole Opry.
Potty-mouthed or not, he's undeniably funny, and he gets off some great comic riffs here, including one about the strange connection between Barney The Purple Dinosaur and sexual arousal in married couples. He also sings (quite well, in a clench-jawed, George Jones-ish way) some filthy self-penned C&W songs, two of which are offered in both live and studio versions. The best of the bunch may be "Pickup Truck," an ode to a vehicle he cherishes because "it won't sleep with my best friend."
Recorded at TRC Studios, Indianapolis, Indiana, live at In Cahoots, Wichita, Kansas and Cain's Ballroom, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Merchant Of Venice album
$10.15 The review at the very bottom of the page by Ricky Saxby is a joke! My girlfriend says that if she read that then she wouldn't by the album, but it's to late cause I can't change it. I actually love the album, I finished it about a year ago and I still like it. Please support this cause. The album was made specifically for the Christians Children fund and All the 8 dollars you pay minus the amount CD baby needs for fees goes to kids that need it (they actually do need it or they will die. I'm not just saying that they will. If you don't want to support the cd then please donate the money to this charity) christianscharityfund.org Here is a review by John Book book go to http:// musicforamerica. org/node/113336 to check out the review and the website. Spoken Nerd, Seth Moore, R. C, D, and Little Buddy are some of the people who are on an album simply called Charity Album. They are a group of friends from the Nashville, Tennessee area who have put together a CD for charity (more on that later), and considering the music on here, I hope it does very well for them.R.C. & D. are a singer/songwriter duo who have a nice pop/rock/folk sensibility to them, which will please fans of John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Ben Harper. In fact, I think they should shop their music around to a few labels in California and see if they could get their music in some surf films, as it has that carefree spirit that I've always liked (and wish I could play as well). The R.C. part of the equation also offers some solo material, with my favorites being "If These Walls Could Talk" and ""Coast". Seth Moore offers an acoustic song in the form of "You Have A Lite", and his conviction sounds a lot like Jack Johnson if he was to hang out with Jeff Tweedy and the rest of Wilco. The CD could easily find a comfortable place to hang out in, but half of this CD is dedicated to some very nice hip-hop tracks. Spoken Nerd is self-proclaimed, and all claims that are made can be made true if you want to believe in his music. "Cabbage Patch" has him talking about a hip-hop world where everyone isn't exactly hip-hop, while "Apathy To ...
