DOWN HOME PIANO is a compilation of Allison originals from his late 1950's albums AUTUMN SONG, CREEK BANK, RAMBLIN' WITH MOSE, and LOCAL COLOR, originally issued on Prestige. Here, the focus is on Allison the pianist/composer, accompanied by drums and acoustic bass.
