Nice compositions and solos.
I was interested in hearing the legendary C Sharpe when I purchased this record. Unfortunately he only takes 3 relatively short solos that make it hard to get an idea of his playing.

Some great arranging, great blowing ..
To tell the truth, I bought this CD because there is such a paucity of alto man Clarence "C" Sharpe. He did some vinyl with Archie Shepp which was never released on CD and ws on Lee Morgan's debut on Blue Note.
