This band is amazing. This album is amazing as well, and in my opinion better than Killing On Adrenaline. This band is so technical and brutal, this is easily in the top ten Metal bands in my collection (it's funny 'cause other than a little bit of Jazz, Metal is all I listen to). With awesome songs like Praise The Lord (opium Of The Masses) and Epidemic of hate and basically the rest of the album, this is among the best in my collection (aside from Nile and Sepultura). Hail to the FETUS! Submitted by jamesg815 (somers, ny, usa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Praise the DF I am glad to know that so many others appreciate this album. It is my favorite out of any genre and I listen to a damn ton of music. That said, let me know if you can suggest a better one, and don't say Stop at Nothing (although Vengeance Unleashed is probably the best song ever written). Submitted by owen.hawkins (Portland, Or.) Dying Fetus = Great band! I have listened to alot of Death Metal bands and none of them were more appealing to me than Dying Fetus. They are very talented musicians bringing catchy guitar riffs without leaving out the heavyness, and on top of that, their lyrics are complex and meaningful. Dying Fetus is probably one of the best Death Metal bands around. If I am to recommend any band, It will have to be Dying Fetus because they are just that good. Awsome album by One the best Death Metal bands around! Dying Fetus Packs something special in with every album. This album is just as good as Killing on Adrenaline. I just love John's utterly low vocals and Kevin's Drumming proves that hes one of the best in his genre. This album is just flat out awsome, and you'll be listening to for quite some time. It's just one of those cd's you can't seem to take out of your cd player. Get it! You won't be Disappointed! Submitted by Jake (St.Paul, MN) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great album!!! Better lyrics, better vocals, better drums, better guitars and better songs just make Dying Fetus better then almost all the other bands in the genre. Though Gorerotted is my personal favorite, I have to admit that it's very good what these guys do, probably even better then Gorerotted. Born is Sodom is my favorite song from this album and it should regularily be in the stereo of all the Death Metal fans, so is it in mine Submitted by a reviewer (Huissen, The Netherlands) Was This Review Helpful? Destroy The Opposition album
$12.89 Words cannot do this album enough justice. This is a truly glorious metal release, certainly Death's finest hour, and easily one of the top metal albums of all time. The sheer ferocity and emotion that channels through each of the intricate, progressive guitar melodies shatters every low opinion of the American metal scene. When you combine Chuck Schuldiner's shrieking vocals (his eeriest performance ever) with the most talented, cohesive lineup yet, you get the definitive ...

Destroy The Opposition CD music
$11.75 Following a three-year absence caused by the defection of three-quarters of their lineup (who went on to form Misery Index), Maryland grindcore institution Dying Fetus resumed their semi-legendary career with 2003's relentless Stop at Nothing. In an admirable display of effortless resurrection, sole original remaining member, vocalist John Ryan Gallagher didn't even blink when left to his own devices, but simply recruited new and able musical storm ...
| | Louis Armstrong Mack The Knife CD (1990)
Destroy The Opposition music CDs
$9.89 Digitally remastered by George Horn (Fantasy Studios, Berkeley, California).
This collection is a mixed bag of live recordings, made towards the end of the trumpeter Louis Armstrong's long and illustrious career, including his popular versions of "Hello Dolly" and "Mack the Knife," as well as Dixieland staples such as "St. Louis Blues" and "New Orleans Stomp."
Recorded in 1957, exactly 11 months after the excellent live recordings that comprise THE GREAT CHICAGO CONCERT, MACK THE KNIFE is another fun show from the same band, the second version of Louis's "All Stars." The occasion of this recording was a special July 4th Newport Jazz Festival show in celebration of Satchmo's birthday. According to contemporary reports, however, the party took a strange turn when a pre-show argument over the concert's line-up ...
| | Valfar, Ein Windir CDs (2004) Import
Destroy The Opposition songs
$22.25 In what surely stands as one of the cruelest cases of life imitating art in recent memory, Windir leader Terje "Valfar" Bakken died under circumstances eerily similar to the stories frequently recounted in his songs: frozen from exposure while hiking in the wilds of his native Norway. That his former bandmates took it upon themselves to honor his memory with 2004's career-capping release, Valfar, Ein Windir, is thus testament not only to the man's popularity, but his commitment to his craft. It's also an absolute treat for Windir fans and Scandinavian heavy metal enthusiasts in general, being part tribute album and part collection of odds and sods drawn from various stages of the group's decade-long existence. First ...

Destroy The Opposition songs
$10.75 If avant-garde jazz artists decided to become headbangers, the most logical place for them would be math metal. The 2000s have given us a long list of technical metal bands that thrive on angularity and difficult time signatures, which of course, are also easy to find in avant-garde jazz. But some technical metal bands are more accessible than others, and Ills of Modern Man has more of a ...
