2 On 1 Reissue With Sleeve Notes By Robert Fripp.
2 LPs on 1 CD: LONG MISTY DAYS (1976)/IN CITY DREAMS (1977). Personnel: Robin Trower (guitar); James Dewar (vocals); Rustee Allen (bass); Bill Lordan (drums). Producers: Geoff Emerick, Robin Trower, Don Davis. Recorded at Air, London, England and Criteria Studios, Miami, Florida. Includes liner notes by Mark Chatterton. All tracks have been digitally remastered. Personnel: Robin Trower (guitar). Recording information: Air London, England; Criteria Studios, Miami, FL. A good mix of down-and-dirty blues, 1976's Long Misty Days also features Robin Trower's ethereal ballads. Its 1977 follow-up In City Dreams -- also included on this two-fer -- is slightly funkier than the previous albums, but still highlighted by a delicate ballad, "Bluebird" and the majestic title track. ~ Michael P. Dawson

In City Dreams I've always liked the In City Dreams Album since it was released. So laid back. I'm glad to see it out on CD again. It's like an old friend. Now, you have to buy Trowers new CD, Living Out of Time. It's a killer! Submitted by Don (Louisiana) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Classic Power Trio - 5 Stars Classic Trower/Dewar. I've always loved the melodic power of this particular line-up, and this is right up there with his best-(Twice Removed, Bridge). Still has the hunger to be heard. As a bluesman myself (ex-vocalist for Savoy Brown, The Thang, etc.), I'm a pretty heavy critic. This is a great 2-album cd, and finally I can put my records away.

Long Misty Days/In City Dreams
$12.89 Personnel: Robin Trower (vocals, guitar); Jack Bruce (vocals, bass guitar); Gary Husband (drums). Jack Bruce must have enjoyed his 2005 get-together with Cream so much that, when Clapton and Baker were unwilling to continue the collaboration, he rang up Robin Trower to renew the brief power trio fling they had in the mid-'80s. ...
