| hey now had the BLT Album eons ago. BGO does a great job with the Trower Cataloge. BLT is a very good release the songs on truce are not as good. The band never got to spend enough time together. Id give BLT 4 stars - Truce 2.5. By DBel181254 (Vero Beach,FL) |
| great cd Great albums except BLT they forgot about Jack Bruce's fat bass sound in the mix & Bill Lordans drumming is awful Truce is better with more songs written by Jack Bruce and much better drumming by Reg Isodore more of a group effort.. I loved when they paired these two together.. By jasets (Kentucky) |
| Trower in great form BLT is the stronger album, with some of Robin Trowers finest studio playing. Jack Bruce on bass and vocals is fabulous. These two dudes, who after all these years are rumoured to be writing a few new tunes together, really compliment each other. Fine songwriting, particularly BLT. As for Bill Lordan, he's a natural. | Creamy Trower These songs are great! Trower jams. Bruce's vocals are amazing. Life on Earth and Take Good Care of Yourself are worth the price alone. Wish I'd discovered it sooner. By Jeff (Trabuco Canyon, CA) |
| Cover looks good enough to eat!! Owned album when new, got lost, took 15 years to find vinyl copy, great LP, cover looks good enough to eat...great combination of Bruce and Trower real challenge to each others creativity, some of Bruce's best work since going solo. Trower brought out the sleeping beast which had been hiding in Bruce since Cream disbanded..in a word or two, kicks butt, still listen to it a least once a week and it still sounds fresh after all these years, maybe it's the preservatives in the bacon?
