5 stars Trane lives
They were not only friends, they looked at the world from the same transcendental perspective. They may have used the same style reed as well. I can hear John when I listen to Pharoah, and not because he's copying Trane. Sanders is an original. This is a jewel of a recording from one of the truly great players. Excellent accompaniement from piano, bass, drums and backup chorus.

This is one the best Jazz albums, one of my favourite. No need to hesitate just buy it ! It's the best of all Pharoah Sanders albums.
