I Remember Miles album for sale Product Description
I Remember Miles album for sale by Benny Golson was released Feb 08, 1996 on the Evidence label. There are a few remarkable recreations on tenor-saxophonist Benny Golson's tribute to Miles Davis, particularly "'Round Midnight" and parts of "So What" and "Bye Bye Blackbird." Trumpeter Eddie Henderson (especially when muted) comes very close to duplicating not only the sound but the spirit of Davis while Golson sometimes discards his own strong musical personality to do close impressions of John Coltrane. ...See Full Description

Derrick Morgan Time Marches On: Derrick Morgan Sings Ska, Rocksteady And Reggae CD (1997)
I Remember Miles CD music With an incredibly prolific hitmaker like Derrick Morgan, playing selector on a career-spanning compilation is a thankless task at the best of times. But the pressure is reduced if you blame it all on the fans. Thus, the back cover insists that Time Marches On features "Morgan's most requested tracks." One would be wrong, however, to assume that these requests would result in a greatest-hits collection; in fact, most of his best-known numbers are nowhere to be found here. ...

Dogs Die In Hot Cars Please Describe Yourself CD (2004)
I Remember Miles songs From the Scottish town that brought you the gentle sounds of Belle & Sebastian and Camera Obscura comes a horse (or dog) of an entirely different color. Glaswegian band Dogs Die in Hot Cars sounds like it spent the last several years holed up in a closet with the first four XTC albums, and to fine effect. Though cynics may decry the Andy Partridge-like vocal yelps, New Wave-influenced feel, and brashly melodic popcraft as too derivative, anyone who ever ...

Ken Jones Simply His CD (2000)
I Remember Miles songs Life happens with rhythm and melody...and so it is that this CD began in the heart and soul of the musician who sees with eyes of faith and listens with ears of sensitivity to the meaning of events that occur around, to, and within him. His gift of hearing the melody in the moment and the rhythm in the reality of Life finds expression in these songs you'll hear on this CD of instrumental songs of Faith.
Some of the tracks are the melodies to songs inspired directly from the words of Scripture, such as "Search Me, O God," Psalm 139:23-24; "If We Confess Our Sin" (1 John 1:9); "Come To Me" (Matthew 11:28-30); and Prayer Promises (Jeremiah 33:3, John 15:7).
The joy of living in love with the Lord finds expression through the songs "My Lord, My Life," "WindSong," "I Thank You, Lord," and "He Gave."
Relationships based on a common faith and Christian perspective can make the heart sing, as evidenced by the beautiful melodies of "Joshua's Lullaby" written for Ken's newly adopted baby boy (and played during his adoption ceremony). Since Joshua is the Old Testament equivalent to the New Testament name of Jesus, this melody begins with the opening phrases of "Jesus Loves Me" before morphing into Joshua's uniquely-crafted tune. "Melody" is inspired by a darling 5-year-old with that musical name who lived in the country in a mobile home, with a dirt yard, and a pet goat. Her heart-stealing ways endeared her to Ken and resulted in this tribute to his young friend.
"Touch A Child" found inspiration from an article of the same title. Ken's poetic adaptation of the opening paragraph reads, "As a little girl she had often gone, out into the fields where she stood alone. Amid the tall waves of grass she ...
