5 stars the music is really awsome!
I really enjoy hearing this genre of music. It is wonderfully and masterfully composed as well as performed by the orchestra.

Music composed by Jule Styne. Lyrics written by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. Do Re Mi was an ideal selection for City Center Encores!, a New York series that does concert versions of forgotten Broadway musicals. The show, about a small-time criminal's adventures in the music business, ran for 400 performances from 1960 to1962, but has not been revived onstage since. Its modest failure is usually put down to the book and direction of Garson Kanin, since principals Phil Silvers and Nancy Walker were accomplished comics and the score by Jule Styne, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green produced the standard "Make Someone Happy." Though the 1961 original Broadway cast album was a reasonable reproduction of that score, it was a good idea to preserve the City Center concert version, the first recording of the score in 38 years, especially because, in Nathan Lane, the casting equaled that of the original production's Silver. Lane is as ingratiating as usual, and the supporting players, who include Randy Graff, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Heather Headley, are effective. Like so many projects, Thadeus Project was not an idea hatched in a moment but over a lifetime. Not so much a birth but a rebirth. A rekindling of the love for music and the passion to create it.

Two of the band's founding members, Ted Putbress and Glenn Folworski, experienced the 70's and all that rock and roll had to offer. Fresh and varied sounds. From Aerosmith to Neil Diamond. Pink Floyd to The Doors. Blues, R & B and jazz all influenced what was being played. It was a vibrant time when bands formed and failed and re-formed again. It was no different for Ted and Glenn. They played together. They played apart. They kept in touch.

Fast forward to the year 2000. Life is good. For Ted, success has come in the form of the Financial Services industry. Now, a well earned vacation to Mexico triggers a desire to make music a part of his life again. Sitting in the terra cotta courtyard of his wife's ancestral home, Ted picks up his guitar and begins to play. That's all it took.

Not long after returning home, Ted was looked into the latest music technologies and was immediately blown away by the innovations in musical design. The possibilities exploded in his mind. The passion was back, and now the money was there with a business background to back it up.
