 Beautiful
I think it's an amazing album. The music is arranged well, and the main melodies are really, really, really... good. But I'm sure there's at least one bit of the score that I heard in the series missing on this album.
Mind, I adore the 10th Kingdom, so I'm pretty biased.
Ugh, don't talk to me about that damn singing ring.

 Captures the highlights
If you saw the TV mini-series, you'll like this cd. It captures the highlights of the movie and makes you want to watch it again. One star off for jumbling the soundtrack order (I never understood that...I want them in the order of the corresponding movie scenes!). To those who weren't expecting all instrumental...did you *watch* the series? There is only one song with lyrics, "Wishing On A Star".

Taboo, the stage musical about the London club scene of the early '80s and the rise of singer Boy George of the band Culture Club, for which Boy George wrote the songs, ran 15 months in the West End, from January 2002 to April 2003. During the run, the show was revised, and Boy George stepped in, playing the part of Leigh Bowery, a friend of his (another actor played the young Boy George). The Broadway production, a flop that ran only 100 performances between November 13, 2003, and February 8, 2004, was a further-revised version with a new libretto by New York playwright Charles Busch. As part of the revisions, four songs that appeared on the original London cast album -- "Shelter," "Touched By the Hand of Cool," "Independent Woman," and "Pie in the Sky" -- are missing from the original Broadway cast album, which, however, adds four others -- "Dress to Kill," "Sexual Confusion," "The Fame Game," and "Come On In from the Outside," along with a medley ...
