The songs on the EP were recorded during two sessions: the first in 2008 with Joe Chiccarelli and Mike Daly which resulted in 'Universe Can Wait' and 'Mean Old Clock'. The second was with Josh Pyke in early 2009 which resulted in 'Family Tree', 'In Love & Lost' and 'Knife's Edge'. On the finished EP, Leena's love of The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Crowded House and Neil Young shines through while maintaining a unique sound rooted in the theory that great songs will always prevail.
