Barroc Zappa
I knew Zappa could go for almost anything. He even went for Francesco Zappa. But this record makes clear that Zappa's music is waiting for us to arrange it.

A wonderful recording
Leonard Bernstein said once that an "American Mozart" was not born yet... Well, I think it wasn' t true; Frank Zappa was already writing his great stuff.

Zappa's "top hits" get the baroque treatment
By "top hits" I meant most of my favorite tunes... none of which I recall getting any radio play. Unlike Harmonia, Ensemble Amrosius gets their "electronic" textures through purely acoustical means.

Amazing
I'm sure, knowing Frank's love of music that he would adore this album. Zoot Allures and Sofa are just delicious. What a great peice of work.
