Blues Complete album for sale Product Description
Blues Complete album for sale was released Jun 08, 1999 on the Westside label. An enigmatic title, but one that refers to this gathering up of the complete recordings of Ralph Willis for Jubilee, Lonnie Johnson on Rama and Johnny "Big Moose" Walker's unissued session for End. Blues Complete buy CD music Willis' 1950/1951 sessions show a strong tie to his Piedmont background with Brownie McGhee on second guitar. The session with Big Moose Walker and Jump Jackson features plenty of breakdowns, off-color studio chit chat and solid playing by the carload on tunes like "Footrace to a Resting Place," "Wrong Doin' Woman" and "One Eyed Woman." Not the most vital blues recordings to own, but an interesting batch nonetheless. Blues Complete CD music contains a single disc. ...See Full Description
